Why my fears of public speaking are entirely justified

I've always had a problem with this, so I've decided to attack my problem head on!

Also the night of the presentation is my commencement ceremony (yup, I'm graduating), so I may present in a cap and gown and have to leave early! I'll be watching the rest of the speakers with my friend's iphone while waiting to get my diploma.
